Opening Prayer
Lord Jesus, Light of light, you have come among us. The Lord is in our midst; he is mighty to save!
Scripture
The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the LORD. -Proverbs 21:31
Reflection
Holy Spirit, kindle the flame of our faith. Grow us in Peace. You govern all things in heaven and earth— grant us your peace all the days of our life.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, Thank you that you are love.
You are all we need and you give to us generously.
We pray that whenever we battle with choosing to vindicate for ourselves or to allow you to move, we ask that you would remind us that victory is The Lords and that you have already won.
When we feel low or absent from success may you help us to look up to you knowing that your hand is on our life and you hold the whole world in your hands.
During this Christmas season it can be easy to relish in what we want, but may we look to what you have for us in this Christmas season and the coming year.
Your word says that the joy of the Lord is our strength.
We believe in and receive your joy that gives us strength.
May we never take you for granted and be able to duplicate your joy to show others the strength that comes by knowing you.
When we are weak, you make us strong!
You are strength.
Remind us you have the victory and the final say.
Closing Prayer
Behold we are the servants of the Lord. Let it be to us according to your word. May we rest in the peace that the darkness can never extinguish the light that has been given to us.
